Our annual native plant sale at REI: We are again planning for this event in front of the REI store at 3285 East 3300 South in Salt Lake City. This plant sale fundraiser will be sponsored by Jeannette Warner of Wildland Nursery. She will have a huge selection of various native perennials, shrubs, and trees. 10% of the proceeds will benefit the UNPS Salt Lake Chapter.

Beaver Dam Mountains Field Trip: We will be camping in the Cedar Pocket Campground in the Arizona Strip. A road from our campground will take us into the Utah portion of the Beaver Dam Wilderness Area where three floristic provinces meet. The plant species are unique and very limited in our state. A tentative side trip is planned to the Mojave Desert portion of Zion Park. Saturday night we will have a potluck dinner so bring a dish of your choice. This is open to all members in the state and we will make carpool arrangements.
