Utah Heritage Garden at Wasatch Elementary School

The Heritage Garden at Wasatch School is the flagship garden of the program, covering 2700 square feet and including over a hundred species. Thanks to the hard work of teacher Darrin Johnson and the excellent cooperation of principal Kathy Spencer, this garden, which is very visibly located at the front entrance, is a source of pride for the school. We include detailed documentation of the establishment of this garden in the Scrapbook section, as a guide to others who may be interested in similar projects. We are in the process of developing curriculum materials to help teachers at the school make better use of the garden.
