UNPS Utah Plant Fest
The Utah PlantFest is a free, 2-day conference celebrating Utah's incredible native plants.
This year, Utah PlantFest will be held at Conservation Garden Park on October 9th and 10th.
We want to make native plants in every aspect accessible to people - that's why this conference will be completely free (although donations will definitely be appreciated). Free registration, free classes, free seeds, free plants! It's going to be awesome.
Plan on two days of:
- Workshops
- Presentations
- Research Symposium
- Free Native Seed Swap
- Expert Panels
- Tabling from local artists, nonprofits, schools, businesses, and other organizations
As part of Utah PlantFest 2026, we will have a Mini Research Symposium all about native plants! This two-hour, in-person symposium on October 9th will be an opportunity to present on research, mingle with researchers from other schools and specialties, and make important connections. We welcome research on any topic relating to native plants, native plant communities, native plant interactions, invasive species, conservation and restoration, etc.
